DISTINGUISHED CLUB PROGRAM

The Distinguished Club Program is the process that Toastmasters International uses to identify clubs that are meeting or exceeding the expectations and needs of their members.
President's Distinguished Club – the highest level of recognition available. The club met the membership prerequisite and achieved nine or 10 of the 10 goals.

Select Distinguished Club - the club met the membership prerequisite and achieved seven or eight of the 10 goals.

Distinguished Club – the club met the membership prerequisite and achieved five or six of the 10 goals.

MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMS

Each year Toastmasters International has three different membership growth programs designed to help clubs increase the members in their clubs.
Smedley Award – the club added five new, dual or reinstated members during the months of August and September.

Talk up Toastmasters Award – the club added five new, dual or reinstated members during the months of February and March.

Beat the Clock Award – the club added five new, dual or reinstated members during the months of May and June.

DISTRICT LEADERSHIP

Toastmasters International gives opportunities to its members to serve outside of their home club as District Officers.  The top positions in the District are elected and some positions are appointed by the leadership.
District Governor. District 85P - elected by the leadership of the clubs in China to lead and assist the Executive Council and District Council in achieving the mission of the District and Clubs 2007-2008
Keith Ostergard, DTM
Division Governor - elected by the leadership of the clubs in China to lead and assist a Division of Clubs and the Area Governors assigned to those clubs in achieving the mission of the District and Clubs 2007-2008 (N)
Cindy Jensen, CC/CL
Area Governor – nominated by the Division Governor and appointed by the District Governor to assist the members and leaders of local clubs in achieving the goals of the members and the District. 2007-2008 (N11)
Nathan Zhang
Vice Chairman of Education & Training – elected by the leadership of the clubs in China to lead and assist the members and clubs to achieve the Educational Goals for the Clubs and the Territorial Council.

Area Governor – appointed by the Territorial Council Chairman to assist the members and leaders of local clubs in achieving the goals of the members and Territorial Council.
